Join us for a special evening with wine-making and father-son duo, John and Tom Bigelow of JM Cellars. Their family-owned winery has focused on producing handcrafted, limited-release wines since 1998, crafting quality wines styled for balance, power and finesse. Small production lots allow the the winemaking team to create of a broad selection of distinguished wines that showcase the region in which they were grown, including their estate vineyard in Walla Walla. Yellowhawk’s culinary team has created an exceptional pairing with six of their wines, through a five-course dinner event.

Silver Oak began over a handshake between two friends with a bold vision: focus on one varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon, aged exclusively in American oak and worthy of cellaring for decades to come. Ray Twomey Duncan, a Colorado entrepreneur, and Justin Meyer, a Christian Brothers-trained winemaker, co-founded Silver Oak out of a Napa Valley dairy barn in 1972. Ray’s sons, David and Tim Duncan, own and operate the winery to this day. Twomey was founded in 1999 by the Duncan family as a new venture to expand beyond Cabernet Sauvignon and vinify other grape varieties from only the most compelling vineyards. Twomey embraces many of the same core principles as Silver Oak: quality, sustainable farming, innovation—but above all, a deep commitment to continuous improvement at every level.

Mark your calendar for the ultimate Walla Walla summer celebration. The second-annual Shindig returns to Yellowhawk Resort. The event sold out quickly last year as we welcomed more than 350 guests from around the Pacific Northwest, featured 25 of Walla Walla’s top wineries, and raised more than $163,000 for our community. This year’s event will be bigger and better with more wineries, delicious appetizers, and an exclusive magnum tent at the Friday night reception. The Saturday night Grand Gallop will feature a spectacular multi-course seasonal dinner menu paired with some of Walla Walla’s favorite wines, music and dancing, and a live auction to benefit our local agricultural and winemaking community.

Featuring Yellowhawk Resort and Basel Cellars Estate Winery
All Revelers Club properties are proud to showcase wines on our menus which rotate seasonally. Through this special feature, guests are able to try wines by the glass or bottle. Just in time for summer, we are showcasing wines from our sister property, Yellowhawk Resort and Sparkling House and Basel Cellars.
Yellowhawk Resort is the first dedicated sparkling house in Walla Walla and provides something unique for locals and visitors, as well as a place of inclusion with other area winemakers. The first four releases arrived in July 2021 and received high scores and several awards followed by a limited release of two new sparkling wines in May 2022 which are currently available exclusively at the Yellowhawk tasting room. The hilltop resort and sparkling winery provide a sweeping outlook on the fields of wheat, lush vineyards, and Blue Mountains, all on an 84-acre retreat on Walla Walla’s south side featuring farm-to-table dining, swimming pool, cabanas, lodging and event space.
From 2002 to 2021, Basel Cellars Estate Winery produced high quality Bordeaux-style wines, as well as single varietals including Cabernet Franc and old vine Chenin Blanc. The winery transitioned to Yellowhawk Resort and Sparkling House in 2021, so these library selections have a very limited supply, and we are proud to offer them as part of this special offering.
